Since its inception in 1973, the Monmouth Rugby Football Club has built a proud tradition of successful rugby and organizational stability that exemplifies the best qualities of US club rugby. Based among the New Jersey shore communities of Monmouth County, the men and women of Monmouth RFC compete in the Empire Rugby Football Geographical Union for League play and seek out a high level of competition elsewhere through frequent participation in domestic and international tournaments and tours.
The home of Monmouth Rugby is The Wilde Rover, a club house owned and operated by the club since 1995. The facility, which includes three rental properties and a parking lot, was initially renovated and is largely maintained by club members.
As a registered non-profit organization, Monmouth Rugby is also an active member of our local community in Red Bank, NJ, participating in a number of social and charitable events throughout the year.
