Coming to the Wilde Rover this ’16-17 season: The MRFC MUG CLUB! Here’s what it’s all about.The Mug Club features a 16 ounce collector sport glass mug with MRFC’s Crest on the front (see below). There will be different artwork each year to make them unique. The first year, again, if you weren’t paying attention is the MRFC Crest. When you become a member of the Mug Club, you get one of those mugs of your very own with your number to designate it as your own right there on the mug. Here’s what you’ll get:
- – When you come in just tell us your name or your mug number and we will retrieve and fill it for you.
- – More of Your Favorite Brew – At every post game social or when ordering anything on tap, instead of those boring plastic cups, you’ll get your beer in your very own mug! Then, when you’re finished, we’ll wash the glass and put it right back over the bar in its cozy little space to wait for your next visit.
- – At the end of the year, you take the Mug home to rest on your mantle, trophy case, or headboard of your bed as a remembrance of a fine year at the Rover.
- – Special events – Your membership in the Mug Club will get you in to special events like beer tastings throughout the year, in addition to discounts to club events such as Monmouth Day and the Awards Banquet
