Men

The senior men’s side of the Monmouth Rugby Club competes in the Metropolitan New York division of the Northeast Rugby Union, joining the first division in the fall of 2010. The MRFC has made the NRU playoffs each of the last five years and are looking to take the next step in competition by moving on to the round of 16 to play on the National level.

Monmouth’s success as a club and a team comes from a wealth of homegrown talent, dedicated to the structured efforts put forth by Pat Moroney and his coaching staff. The MRFC competes all year round, in the league Fall season, the playoff and touring season of the Spring and the summer sevens tournament schedule, as well.

The Monmouth players primarily come from or have made the move to and around Monmouth County, NJ. Though Middletown is the home of Monmouth Rugby Club’s home pitch, Red Bank hosts the clubs very own Wilde Rover, and the team has players travelling from Ocean, Middlesex, Morris and Hudson counties as well.
