Monmouth Men went to the Four Leafs Tournament Saturday and came up short in the semis losing to the Village Lions 20-7 following pool wins over White Plains 24-13 and Old Gold 42-5. Scorers were Joe Lucarelli (2 tries, 2 convertions), Eric Daneman (2Tries), Garrett Mozolic (2 Tries), Nick Lynch (2 Tries), Rob Morello (1try), Mario Fragale (1try), Dan Spaulding (1try), Tim Crane (1try), Alizar Zorojew (1try) and Joh Dykeman (1 Try).
The coach and captain are very happy with the development of a more expansive game and squad’s development. Work over the next few weeks will focus on the defense contact area and over all defensive patterns.
